again i say, that isnt for a new sub. Read the fine print, the basket is used, but they send you supposedly a new spair. I dunno about all that. Ill be honest with you guys. Dealer cost is 630 dollars, and obvisouly we get it cheaper than anyone. So if you see it for less than that, you know it has to be used or something is seriosuly wrong with it.

i'd have to say go w/ the solo x all the way. there was a spl contest over here in a town around me and i first saw the solo x. i was amazed it is fricking ungodly loud. the guy had it in a dual ported box. i have never heard nething that rumbles as much as this thing. it just depends on what ur looking for for sound. if you want sq go for the w7 definitely, but if you're an spl kind of guy like me then i'd say go for the solo x. personally i have a 15" solobaric l7 and that thing is loud as hell.. id say kicker all the way.!

2 weeks later i put 2 in my supra with 5000 going to each turned my bass knob upand put me stereo on 18 and it blew every window in my car out on the street.oh and the solox can be bought for well under 600 just look for a while.

I'll grant you for a moment that you have three alternators, additional batteries, and a fully upgraded electrical system. I'll even grant that you have enough money for all this. However, I will not grant you that a Supra has enough room for two 18" Solo X subs in an enclosure that even comes close to the minimum specs.

So without pictures, I'm going to file this one under the "I have 12 W7's on my bicycle" category.

Fo sho.....I got 7 in my fiat....It poundZZZZ on dat one base drop in dat nu kulio joint it blu all mah windoeZZ and popped all da quarter panelez off mah fiat!!! Pluss it popped all the tirezz!!! All wit superior sound quality!! Da reson the solo X has bad *** sound quality iz b/c it is square!! and you can abrieveate square (as in square feet or some shit) with "sq" so that is why dat a Sqaure sub is betta fo SQ!!!! You use sq subs fo SQ!!! Duh guyzzzz!

The Solo X is an 18" Square Sub, The 13W7 is 13.5" Round Sub!

The Solo X Max watt is 10000w, The 13W7 Max is 2000w!!

The Solo X weights in at a hefty 110 lbs while the 13W7 is only 55.2 lbs!!

The Solo X retails @ $1500.00, The 13W7 retails @ $899!!

The Solo X is considered Xtreme in most competions, The !3w7 can be used in street!!

The Solo X is an over kill just get a couple 12" Orion H2's in a vented enclosure tuned at about 63 hz you'll hit mid 160's with recommended power bump it up to 300-500watts more and you'll hit low 170's in a Volkswagon Corrado!!

Or a 13w7 powered buy a orion 2500d tuned to 37 hz and you'll hit 155.6db in a 4 door Taurus SHO. if i was to buy a sub that sounds good and pounds hard what sould i buy kicker solo x or jl audio w7. I say that the kicker solo x is cheaper then the w7 and sounds better then the w7. but this guy tells me that the w7 is way better then the solo x. what do you all think

you can get either one of them on ebay for about 600 bucks, but the Solo X is a monster. the w7 will sound better and will get loud, but the solo x will get much louder. ha, a single solo x has about the same cone area as three 12w7's

ya know, i see so many people say these things in ikesound.com, when talking about a system and over there, nearly everyone blows their windows. Got me thinking that you guys get tempered glass over there for dirt.

Anyway, I've not heard a solox, only a W7 and it seemed to be "nice".

newbies, I got news for ya. This is not ikesound. If you try to pull a fast one, you'll get whipped...bad.

/shrug I have cracked the back dash of both my old dodge shadow (yea pos.) and my Sunfire.

I had the same Subs in both cases. this being Crunch comps (3 12's). had about 600ish watts going to them from a mtx amp. sounded kinda harsh though.

I could see someone blowing out a window or 2 with 5k power. Though They would have to go at the sametime cause well... once the back window or front window goes its all over for pressure.
