kicker solo baric L7's

I'm look to see which ones are better overall I guess.. I am just looking at those subs. I really am looking at a pair of tens. I want to run 1000watts or a little more each. I've heard about the aspin type-r's, how are they? I mean is it good to have an amp with the sub? I have been looking at these two subs also. the Power Acoustik MOFO-10 Car Subwoofer and the Alpine SWX-1042D Car Subwoofer. Which of the three are better in general (clean and crisp, and a hard hitting). I would perfer an enclosed box, but it's not a have to have kinda thing. I usually listen to rap, rock. If there are some websites anyeone could help me out with in learning about car audio that would be much appreciated. thanks.

alpine type x if you have atleast 900 rms to each, then you will wang really loud and crisp and tight....type x delivers the nicest bass ive herd, in the right setup

Yes tens are what I'm thinking. I have a little ranger ext.cab so I thought 2 tens would work better then twelves, but I was looking into them because I am curious. I'm sorry I don't mean to confuse anyone. What would you think would work best in my my pickup.

Id have to go with the type X on this one.. L7s get louder, but you said you wanted it clean and crisp.. A lot easier to get a type X sounding like that than it is an L7.. L7s like ported boxes anyways.. Those type Xs should still have decent output while sounding great..
