i was lookin at specs for the ZX1000.1 it says it only has 500watts at 4 ohms? and its a 15in so that wouldnt be very much power?

This is why you get a dual 4 ohm woofer... then wire it to 2 ohms! Then you get 1000 to the woofer...

Do a little researching on how to wire your coils in parallel. I believe that there is a subwoofer wiring sticky on here, if not find the wiring wizard thing on rockfordfosgate.com

we just put a pair of Kicker KX 600.1's on my buddies grey cone dual 2 L7 12, he loves it... definately is pushing it though, and by pushing it i mean its almost too much. I'd say get a dual 2 ohm and the 750.1 and you will be good to go without killing stuff.

dual 4 ohm kicker will run @ 2 ohm by wiring the coils

dual 2 ohm will either run 1 ohm or 4 ohm.

So if you get a kicker, or a 2 ohm stable amp, grab a dual 4 ohm woofer,

no way, a buddy of mine is pushing his 12" kicker's with 850 RMS each and they are doing just fine. maybe you should keep down on the bass booster?

well anyway you look at it, 1300w going to an L7 for daily low frequency street beating will probably p!ss it off to a certain extent. He is on his way over maybe i'll tinker with it.

no odd amp, its the 500/5 last channel thats pushing the 13w3. but I'm clearing up space in my trunk a little bit and replacing the w3v3 with 2 pioneer 8" shallows for midbass. so I can build a case for my AK-47 over the subs. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
