Kicker compR 12" year difference

Like the title says, Im looking for information about the difference between the years of 12" comp R's, a friend is trying to figure what year theirs is without breaking the seal on the box.

Its has a single red stitch, only ones I can find has double red stitch, so I'm guessing it's last model, but I would like to know the model number and what year it was made, any info is appreciated thanks

Run the model number in Kicker's owners manual database on their website. Or call Kicker customer service and provide the model number.

Trying to figure out the model number, without having to break the seal

Highly doubt you are going to find it without removing it from the box. Doesn't take but 2 seconds to unscrew a subwoofer from a box. It doesn't break the seal so idk why you are worried about that. Besides just basic information isn't going to help us so either unscrew it from the box or post a picture and "maybe" someone can identify it but even then it probably won't tell us what the ohm rating is on it.

Pics or it didn't happen. The design of the cone can also help determine era.
