I had 4 of them running off a Memphis 1000D, they banged for what they were.

They're decent. I had 2 CVR122s all parallel on my 250 (1/4 ohm) for 6 months, beatin the hell outta them, they sounded great. They're NOT the cleanest sounding, but to me, they are alright. Get a 1000w or better amp.

Check out the Mach 5 MAW 12. Amazing subs for the price. Not the clearest sounding, but quite loud for the price.

You want some ridiculously cheap woofers that will get loud, sound clean, and make everyone and their mother laugh at you?? Go to http://www.qualitycaraudio.com and pick up some Pyramid Super Pro 12's. They're $29.99 each, and they're built by Eminence Speakers, who builds speakers for guitar and bass amplifiers, as well as professional sound rigs. Go ahead everyone, laugh, but they really do sound great, get loud, and for that price?? Buy 4 so you have spares in case you blow them.

For the price of CVRs I think you can get a nice L7 ported and should be loud enough:up2somet: , 'cause that's the only reason I think you want four.

I got 2 12" cvrs in a sealed box with a 750.1 and it bangs. Im kind of new to car audio but it was my first system and im pleased with it.
