yeah theyre decent depending on your point of view.. i liked mine.. got very loud and took 600 watts well. keep it in the 4-600(unclipped) rms range and youll be happy. oh.. and ported pwns sealed in VRs imo.

oh yeah and bigger lower tuned box is always nice

so running 800watts to this sub in a 4.0 cubic feet enclosure sloted wouldnt be to much power oh ya running a directed 1500d @ 2ohm

keep your gains down... i think 750-800 is pushing it for that sub. im sure youd be fine but its better safe than sorry. set the gains with a DMM for 500 watts-550 watts.. youll get full output from the woofer... adding that extra 200 watts wouldnt give you enough of a boost in SPL to risk damaging the sub.. esp if you plan on slamming rap for hours at a time.
