I'm willing to buy two of these subwoofers:

But I don't know what amplifier to use with these subs. I'm looking for these subs cus I've heard they are great for the price. Hope u guys help me with this.

Also I'm not sure if I should go with the 2ohm, or 4ohm version.

They're pretty good subs. If your into SPL then these are the subs for you if your not looking to spend too much money. The SQ on them sucks tho which is the bad part.

amp wise. i have a MTX 3401 Class D amp. Its 400 watts and i have it bridged to 2 of the CVR's. It thumps. I'm not too familiar with any other amps so i cant help ya out there.

and it just matters on which kind of amp you get for the 2 or 4 ohm sub. i have the 2 ohm CVR's

well i dont know about what he said.. i mean i think the SQ on the CVRs is better than hes giving them credit for. i think generally people agree that their SQ isnt too bad. not great by any means but not bad.

i dont think 400 watts to two of them is quite enough, especially if theyre sealed. youll want 600-800 rms. kicker makes a nice 600 watt amp thatll prolly give you closer to 700-800 rms. not sure abotu your budget though. give us a figure for what you have saved.

also for the 600-800 power range, odds are youll want two of the dual two ohm version of those subs, since most amps that make that power do so at two ohms, though there are a few exceptions. youll need to figure out impeadences and how they work to make sure you dont end up with an incompatable sub/amp combo

I have a pair. Get them off of Ebay though. They are a lot cheaper.
