I have 4 of them, 10's. But what can i get that are louder? I mean they are a pretty **** good speaker. But I dont really have enough space for them. I want to get 2 Punch Power 12's. Do you think 2 of them would be louder than the 4 kicker comp cvr 10's granted I had enough air space perfectly for both but on the same Memphis 1000D amp???

They are in a single cab hatchback sealed box with approx. 1cu. ft per speaker but its a little less and they definately need more air. its on an f-250 diesel so it has plenty of power. memphis 1000D amp 1000watts RMS

not giving the cvrs quite enough power they can handle 300rms ur amp might not even be doing 1000rms have u had it benched?
Assuming he has them wired to the correct resistence, I can guarantee you that amp is putting out 1000 watts, or above it. Memphis makes a solid amp.

I'd keep them...does your enclosures have any polyfill at all? That'd help too...

no polyfil... i dont know what that is even... can you explain?? and everywhere ive went in town tells me to get a custom built box that is ported. I guess i'll get Soundwaves to build me one out of fiberglass ported. I know the amp is solid, I might not haev wired it perfect but I'll get a professional to do that... what do yall think about going with 3 - 10's on the same amp? i'll need less space so the box wont be as big

soundwaves here in college station, i've decided to just go with 2 in a custom built ported box that i found on the internet. then i will still have a little room in the back if someone needs to ride

false...when they were made in the USA, we had waaaaay more return rate, more QC and QA problems...now that they are made offshore, like most woofers nowdays, we have a better driver, that handles more power than the older SVC woofers, ever dreamed of.

I know, I've seen the advancements over the last 16+ years....
