Kicker Comp 07C104's?

Does anybody have any experience with these subs? I'm looking for a pair of 10's for the back of my wrangler and I found a good deal on a pair of these. I'll pick them up if its worth it, so I'm looking for some opinions. BTW, they will be hooked up to an Xplod 1200W amp...

ehh. There's much better out there. And I would also ditch that amp. How much you wanting to spend?

Well, the amp is staying because I already have it from a previous system. I'm not looking to spend a lot. I just want a little more thump. I'm not looking to build a competition system or anything, just something with a little substance over the goofy 5 1/2" speakers that come in the wranglers. I decided to go with 10's mainly because of the space issue in the trunk. I was originally going to get only one 10", but came across a deal on a pair.

meh, there is definitely better out there, but if you can get the pair for under $100 then it is a pretty decent buy. We have a pair of 10's on a zx400.1 where I work and they aren't all that bad. You might want to consider going with a single sub setup on this budget and get something of better quality.

Ok, well I was getting 2 of these kickers for $65 bucks new plus the box that will fit in the back of my Jeep for $80. The sealed boxes that fit in the Jeep for a single 10" are relatively small (.7-1 cu. ft). What other combo can can I get out there for around $125-150, sub and box, that will hit and sound better than these 2 kickers? Like I said before, I'm looking for some good quality bass on a budget so when I came across this I thought it may be worth while...

If you are getting both of them for $65, then that's probably a pretty good pick up. For $80 bucks you could build your own box and shave about $50 bucks off of that cost. Either way that combo should please you.

Yeah, I could build my own, but it would be a last resort. I still may, but it all depends on what subs I get. I'm leaning towards getting these unless someone can suggest a better setup for around the same price. Any suggestions?

Hey, I also came across 2 Visonik V100S4's. What do you guys think about them? Better than the kickers?

Sorry to keep bugging you guys with questions but I keep looking more and more into different subs. What about MTX Audio? Crutchfield has a buy one get one free special on the MTX Thunder4500 T4510-04 10's for $89. Never had experience with MTX, would it be worth looking into these or just stick with the kickers?

I would stick with the Kickers. I actually have both of those setups where I work (both in ported boxes) and I like the Kickers.

fiend had a pair of comp 12's off of a 600.1 and it was pretty good. his CVRs are a lot louder and my L7 is way louder but for the money they are alright.
