Ight so I got 2 Kicker L7s powered by a zx1500.1. Everything is 2 ohms all good right?so i've had these guys for about a year now and i've noticed a huge change in my Amp.
Now, if I play it for 2 hours or more at a mid volume or not even a min of hard bass my sub amp only will shut off and go into safty mode I think, well it flashes green light.
My first thought was over heating so I remounted the amp for better air flow. But it has still done it since I made that change.
My next thought and my question is power. I got an optima deep cell battery and a 5 fared cap. But this is in a 01 Honda accord and my car only can give me 80 amp from the alternater, I do know that is amp wants 140 amp to run right. I have only tryed trying my gain up beyond what I should a hand full of times.
Like a dumb *** I forgot about my cap in the past when I replaced my battery. So now I can only think that I've damaged either my cap or my amp but from what I know if they where they would not work at all.
So what's up homies any one know anything about this or got any ideas for me?
