Kicker 06 ZX15001 or Sundown SAZ1500d

I recently had my stuff stolen. And i am gettin it back from the insurance company. They don't have access to the sundown amps but they offered me a brand new kicker 06 zx15001. Should i take this amp or should i get the cash out of it and buy a used sundown saz1500d. I already had the sundown and i loved it but i have heard great things about the kicker amp. And it wouldn't be much of a hassle cuz i wouldn't have to get the money and then go off and buy a sundown. What do you guys think i should do? Whats the pros and cons of these amps from people who have tried both? I dont know what to do.

I would take the kicker for sure. I bet it would be much easier on your electrical too.

get the kicker, puts out more power but at different ohm loads. So it will come down to what yor final ohm load will be. both great amps t hough

The reason my sig says sundown is because i already had a sundown. It got stolen from me. Thats why my sig says that. And do you guys really think the kicker will be easier on my electrical? The sundown was great my electrical. Only got minor dimming at idle at full tilt. And to answer the ohm load question. It really doesn't matter because i will be purchasing a new sub anyways so i can choose the coils. And can't you run these at one ohm anyways. Shouldn't they be fine with impedance rise? So really it just comes down to which one is better.

And there will be pics of everything when i get my new setup. Im looking into an eclipse head unit, rd audio alpha or aq hd3 for the sub, and for the amp either the kicker or the sundown. Which one do you think will push these subs better and be better on my electrical?

It all depends on how you plan on wiring your subs. At 1 ohm or below... SAZ1500D. At 2 ohms, ZX1500.1. Both are solid amps, can't go wrong with either.

To be honest it doesn't matter how im goin to wire the subs because i'm gonna choose the coils after i get the amp. I'm looking at either an hd3 or a rd alpha. So really i can wire it depending on what amp i get. So this just comes down to what amp is better. I've had the sundown and i loved it but i've also heard great things about the kicker.

Its been stolen once....What makes you think it wont be stolen again?

I would follow the Sundown boner just incase you find some other sub that you like and the Sundown will allow you to go under a 1 ohm load

Well first of all we just bought a new car and my car had to be parked outside for 3 days. My sister was driving my car and she was stupid and parked it in my neighbors driveway out by the street. The stuff was stolen at 1030 at night. It was early. And the reason it will not happen again is because i am puttin it in my new car with an alarm and the car will be in the garage which is far off of the street.

get the kicker and run it at 1 ohm i've heard you should see around 2 k easy

Should i even risk it running it under 2 ohm because it will void the warranty on it. The kicker amp will be brand new with warranty.
