Kerf cut- Not for sissies!!

I was about to say it was a truck rider, just cause of the angle. And I think I may try it, but I plan on doing it flat, with a circular saw set for depth, and a guide clamped to the sheet that I move each cut. That way I don't even have to move the sheet.

Bending it would be the hard part. I am going to be putting in 2 15's behind the seat of my megacab, and this looks like just the ticket for what I want to do.

You've got the idea my man, that's exactly the way I did it. And this design works very nice for trucks..

No trial and error, no real calculation per say. It was pretty much an educated guess. It was a pain to make all the cuts across the entire sheet and bending it kinda ****** by myself because of the weight of it, but a little patience and and then some cursing and I got it the first try. This was an 18" truck box for an ext cab ranger.
Doing the calculations before hand and building it to spec would have been pretty **** hard but after you built it, it wouldn't be that difficult to measure what you came out with.
