lol, air shocks are cheap man, i think its 80 dollars for a set (atleast I think so). You just stick them in and air those *****es up like you do a tire. You will be fine, no need in spending 3g's in bagging your car unless you want too. which would be an even more pita project with its fair share of issues.

Basically what you will find is there is no way to drive a car with a huge nice bad *** system/motor/suspension/3pc rim's daily and it be cost effective. You were talking about getting a daily driver though right, that will take alot of stress of your shoulders.

hmm, what kind of springs could be put in there? coils im guessing but what would fit in there to raise the load capabilities?

The thing is, I WANT to bag my car... it was in my plans for months, and needs to get done before SBN for sure.

I know it sounds like I'm being ignorant maybe... sorry. But, I don't have anyone in south Florida that will mess with my coils without charging me an arm and a leg, and really, if you find something for my 96 Chrysler LHS that will work.. let me know. My car is PICKY, and rare.
