no, 3-4 would have made more sense.peppers is good but at his age i'm not sure he should've gotten a 6 year deal.
not gonna happen. Manumaleuna is specifically a blocking TE. They understand what they have with Olsen. I expect him to have a Vernon Davis type breakout year in 2010. Manumaleuna is essentially a backup and jumbo package playeri dont want to get rid of olsen though
yes they are, and if they trade Vincent Jackson, that will be the last strawChargers are going downhill...
I say we move Hester back to KR/PR on a full time basis and convert Olsen to WR. Olsen can't block for shit, but he does an alright job of running routes and has decent hands. He's a pretty big target for Cutler as well. Also, this will allow us to get Manu, Dez and Olsen on the field simultaneously at times.i dont want to get rid of olsen though.
Peppers is still a beast and has showed no signs of slowing, and Taylor looked as good as AP at times last season. Any time you can steal depth from a rival, you take that chance. Also, Manu is a big bodied guy that'll do nothing but block. He'll help protect Jay. All solid acquistions for the Bears. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifspending $121million on 3 players that have their best years well behind them...
Pace sucked last year. No big surprise given the circumstances. However, lumping Cutler in with that baggage is stupid. Jay Cutler's future is bright. With protection and a solid running game, he'll be winning games like crazy. It may not happen in 2010, but it'll happen eventually. We're beginning to put pieces together and it'll pay off at some point. I'd also like to point out the many injuries the Bears had at key positions last season. It's not like Jay and Orlando were solely to blame for our shortcomings.reminds me of Orlando Pace and Jay Cutler last year, how'd that turn out?
How so? In case you didn't notice, Jay threw 8 TDs in the final 2 games of the 2009 season, 4 of them to Devin Aromashodu. That's game changing like a motherfucker.still no game changing wide receiver...
touche. I dislike Lovie, but he has faired well with us in the past. Maybe it can happen again. Worst case scenario, he sucks again this year and we sign Cowher in 2011.and Lovie Smith is still coaching the team.
Yeah, your post was bad. I won't hold it against you.Fail
