I have a 99 ranger w/ 118k miles (i'm now on my 2nd engine). I loathe it. The only reason I still have mine is because ive tied up so much money into it.

engine and ***** rebuild

and from one ranger owner to another

i rarely see rangers and as far as i know im the only one in my city with an actual system in it and if i saw another ranger roll by with a massive system in it, it would bring joy to my heart haha

but seriously im keeping mine for a verry long time .. project truck to be v8+bags=fun stuff

mine is an 01 with ~120xxx ... was a demo truck thats why so many miles

mine is a 97, installing sucks with that hump behind the seat. its overly annoying.

if you want to stick with rangers get a newer one.. since you dont want to put down the money for a brand new one

i havent worked with/on a s10 or blazer but im thinking an s10 would have the same ****** and rear wall hump to get around

and blazer would have the most room + for spl

edit: blazer's wheel wells might be even of a more pain

i never even though about doing that. but even then the window line is only like 24 inches high.

i put a aq 1200d and hdc12 and would only do bass race 129.9 with it in my gf's 06 civic coupe. since it would only do like a 135ish on music. we decided to trade it in and i would pay the difference for a new car. so i paid like $4600 for a 08 honda fit and now have a aq 2200d and hdc15 in there. now it does a 146+ on music //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif me and the gf are pretty happy with our decision
