Keep the ranger or get a new vehicle?

Ok, so my next build will be my biggest yet, but i'm torn on what I want to do it in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Option 1: Keep my ranger

Flaw: Ranger has 162xxx miles, i don't know how much longer it will end up lasting, but it is in good condition.

Pros: have more money to dump into system, buy a bike.

Option 2: Get an s-10, or blazer extreme

flaw: Will cost about another 6k to get a newer s-10 / blazer

pros: new truck, i'll probably keep it longer, looks better

opinions?

Keep the ford dont go balls deep into the system so you have a lil if something goes wrong with the engine/*****.

thats why the last thing i'm doing is buying a new alternator. I'll probably spend at least 6 grand on this system

I wish you would just stick with one setup for a while and give it a chance. You go through more equipment than most people on this forum.

Onto your original question, your Ranger will get plenty loud , you just need to work with it a bit. Switching to an S-10 is a move backwards in my opinion. If you go with an Extreem Blazer it will give you a few more options for a competition build and may not be any louder than the Ranger. The Extreems look very sexy and I think that would be the best choice if you dump the Ranger.

i haven't had a setup since the DD's. I havent had the time to do a build correctly.

Ever consider a hatch of some sorts?? You can get a 98 Civic Hatch for cheap and you will also be able to mod it cheap as well.. Those get loud and are reliable cars.
