Keep blowing fuses?

Alright I got my Eclipse 12" TI in last night with a 1000/1 off of it and I keep blowing my 100amp fuses on the distroblock. Any ideas why this is happening?

what class is the amp? the less efficient the amp the more power it draws. what gauge wire for the amp? the fuse is to protect the wiring.

4 guage stinger wire and its a Class D...its a JL 1000/1

I'll have it playing for a little bit and then it blow the fuse. Also my grounds are kinda ghetto...I was in a hurry so they are on a 0 guage ring (had no4 guage ones) could that be it?

maybe your voltage is dropping and the amp has to pull more and more current and eventually the fuse breaks.

I hear those 1000/1 draw far more than 100 amps, its time to get 1/0 and 250 amp fuses..

My voltage isn't droping, it's around 13.7 with bass hitting, well according to my distroblock. Do you know what the largest Maxifuse is? I don't really have money to spend on 20 feet of 0 guage right now.

the largest fuse i'd use on 4 guage would be 140 amps, thats pushing it for me...
