i keep blowing my circuit breaker, i have checked the ground and battery line and they seem to be fine. i first thought the ground got loose but it was still screwed tightly in the trunk. im running a mtx ta81001 amp with an mtx 9512-44 wired to 2 ohms with 4 awg wire. anyone got any ideas?

I am wondering if the circuit breaker is a mechanical type breaker? Are there moving parts inside that open the circuit when an overcurrent is sensed? The reason I ask is because of the vibrations that are produced by your system may actually be tripping the breaker. Try a fuse instead.

Looking at the specs of the RF circuit breakers (Yours is discontinued but still similar to the ones that replaced your model#) I see a feature of a "Manual Reset." Im seriously guessing that it may be of the type that I mentioned earlier.
