KDC-X395 problem

anyone no what would cause a kdc-x395 to display "no music" when usb thumbdrive is plugged in? the thumb drive works in everything else i plug it into.

What format are the songs? Pretty sure it'll only play mp3 & wma. Did you reformat the drive to ntfs? It needs to be fat32.

its nothing to do with thumbdrive- it works in every other deck i plug it into including my kenwood ddx516

ive had my x492 play stuff that my wifes 202u wouldnt play. its a format issue
