kappa perfect questions

I had a few questions about the kappa perfect line, I was looking into getting a pair of 6.5s but Ive heard they are harsh and dont give much midbass.

Im starting from scratch on a system and I didnt want to spend too much to put it all together, and I can pickup a pair of these for like 135$(used) , I just wanted to know if there was anything better for the money

Don't buy them. Worst speaker in the industry.

Polk Momo MMC series. Best sounding speaker ever in that price range.

if you like bright tweets then you will like them. They do lack midbass until you send them some serious power, i have them on 90w then went to 200w and difference was night and day, i would have liked them had it not been for their tweeter

well I was going to spend around 200$ on some components, I usually shop ebay for car audio...bad selections but usually decent prices

I have some Perfects and don't like them either. Echo is right. I bought them used for $100 because I had to hear them for myself. There are cheaper components out there that sound better than Perfects that are supposed to be lower level components.
