JVC adaptor advice

Hi,

I'm migrating a JVC 'CD receiver' unit from my last car to my new car. It's a KD-R421.

It has a connector consisting of eight pins next to a 10A fuse, so clearly needs an adaptor to fit the connector in the car, designed for two connectors.

There are a few adaptors on eBay that look like they might fit, these ones for example:

But what puts me off is that they generally provide a list of models that it's intended to work with, and unfortunately I haven't found one that specifies the KD-R421 in that list.

Is the connector on the JVC likely to be standard across the whole brand? Can I be confident that if the adaptor physically fits, the wiring will work?

You need to ask JVC that. And shudda taken the harness outta the last car.
