big 3 upgrade?

The Bolt on the outside of the metal lip that connects the alternator to the engine is this ok to ground to while doing the big 3... Its the bolt on the same side as the pulleys on 04 alero.

^no.

The alt casing, or a bolt that holds the alt to the block, is the best place to run a ground to the batt, and/or to the chassis.

Strut/Chassis is just fine.

My ground goes to the bolt of the alt. Thats also the factory location

Because he wants to know if that location is a good place to run a wire from his chassis and/or battery -, to...

And a strut bolt is sometimes a very bad chassis ground location as well.

Most struts meter out. Battery is always better if possible though, my stock battery is in my trunk, boo.
