Bring the tweets ~16" down the A-pillar and it'll be much better. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm not trying to jack your thread but I just have a question that would fit into this topic. I've seen a couple brands with component sets where the tweeter clips on in front of the mid (namely Image Dynamics). What kind of advantages/disadvantages do these kinds of sets have?

time alighnment and phase are the 2 biggest issues ...simple concept the higher up the frequency the speakers are playing the more time ,alighnment, directivity, and phase play a role in how it sounds

I had my tweets in the sail panel on the door(stock location on a mustang) i got sick and tired of hearing the left tweet so i put them in the kick panels aimed at the dome light and the sound stage is still at dash level but i dont have any time alignment or anything, just standard stereo and its great. i would rather have a few little holes or buy new a pillars then having sound problems.

Boston Acoustics have that aswell.

But, as Audiolife sorta mentioned, it has alot to do with acheiving a single "point source". Ideally you want all the sound radiating from a single point.
