just toasted my alternator

hey guys

i got a 84 vette with 2 power acoustik 12's and a rockfor 900 amp.

i just blew my alt. its my 3rd one in about 6 months. the alt is from discount and its a 120 amp.

my ? is what can i do to keep my alts. more then a month. i have no money for a h.o alt and i dont know what to do

Theres got to be something wrong with your electrical system. I'm running 1000-1500 RMS on my stock 90 amp alternator and all i get is dimming.

yea there is somthig in your elec system i would get it checked out soon b4 you melt all your wires into a big ball of goo
