Just to clear things up a bit

Are you really able to say that you have lived life never violating Jesus' teachings? How many people can honestly say that they have? By your reasoning there are very very very few Christians in the world.

In fact you don't even appear to be a Christian because of your frequent *** related posts, sig, etc?

"Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." Matthew 5:27
Yes.

Did you not read what I wrote about repentance.

Repentence is when one turns his back on sin, and vows not to do it anymore, and means it in his heart. That person has repented, and is forgiven, because he vows not to do it again.

You are either living in sin or repentance.

If you are willingly and consciously violating Gods will, you are living in sin.

When you are living in repentance you are not under, nor do you live by the rules of sin. You are under God's grace.

And that scripture that you just quoted was already touched on by me a few pages back; when you make the concsious decision to pursue an act of adultery you are no longer living in repentance, because you departed from repentence in your mind/ heart.

I will be the first to tell you that I struggle with lust.

But I do repent and really try, but I am weak when it comes to that, and being away from my wife for weeks at a time doesn't help.

I really don't believe looking at a woman without the intent to have *** with her is a sin, although admiring does lead to that.

This is a ridiculous analogy. We use love as a word to describe our experience in the world. We all know what we mean be love. Claiming to be in love is very different from claiming that there is an omniscience super intelligence reading your thoughts, concerned about you, and concerned about your *** life. Experiencing love says nothing about the object your in love with. People who love their children have good reason to believe their children exist. They conceived and watched their children be birthed into the world. If i was in love with batman does that mean batman exists?
What I meant by that was I get the same "feeling" when I am close to God. There is just a prescence there that you know is there. When you draw near to God, is when you can read the Bible, and it really makes sense to you.

You just know it's right, and you know it's real. It's automatic.

That's where you are wrong brotha. If those men had been practicing true Christianity, the Crusades would have never happened.

I don't think anyone truly practicing Christianity has ever escallated any real problem.
I hate getting into religious talks but you are mistaken. During the time of the crusades the church was killing non believers in the name of Christ which back in that time was christian. Also if your a good christian you know that there were also sacrifices etc.. that were done in the name of GOD.

I don't know why christians are so up tight but Christianity was formed by a group of Jew's who believed that the saviour had come. It started out as an occult and has grown from there. Fact;)

The proof is not in the idea behind loving your children..it's the idea of you loving a human being that exists.
You wouldn't claim to love a child that didn't actually exist, would you?

Or maybe you would...
My point was, that it is just one of those things that no one needs to prove to you.

You can just feel it.

And Christ Did exist. He is a part of God who always did and always will exist.

When you give your life to God your life changes and anyone who is born again can attest to this.

You can call it what you want but I know better.

Um.......how is doing something Christ said NOT to do Christian //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

And...Chrisr gave his life as the final and ultimate sacrifice for sin. After him there was no more need for sacrifices.

And you don't need to be a Christian to know that.

The amount of flaming Mugen08 is getting in this thread is very encouraging to me that someday we'll get rid of this crazy leftover control mechanism we call religion.

Simply put, if we never had a Catholic church that sought to control Europe in a unified manner, we'd never have carried the christianity myth forward into modern times. We're having a non-religious awakening, and it means good things for our future intellectual pursuits.

Mugen08 nice try bro! But when it comes to religion no matter what you say people will believe you are trying to force feed them your opinion.

Your defending living as a christian but you have a pic with three half ***** people as your sig. there are two women there is the other girl there to take dick-tation?

How is that christian like?

for the record I do agree with the OP. But your sig makes me wonder how sincere you are.

You got a hell of a fight here.
