it is not them who lied...it is the time before it was written that lied. like telling someone a fact and having them pass it around the world. when it gets back to you, it will be completely different.

The purpose of making this thread was to inform some people that they were wrong about stereotyping Christians because of what some loons did hundreds of years ago.

And I understand it was translated...but you'd think that someone who read the original document and noticed a flaw in the interpretation would've pointed it out and got it fixed, eh?

If a person commits a crime against another person, they will be punished for that. That doesn't mean that a responsible person should be denied an opportunity to do that.

Aside from that, there are a wide variety of legal drugs that are more addictive than cocaine.

The thing is: if your only reason for making this thread was to make that point, then you wasted your time. Are you really able to say that you have lived life never violating Jesus' teachings? How many people can honestly say that they have? By your reasoning there are very very very few Christians in the world.

This is a ridiculous analogy. We use love as a word to describe our experience in the world. We all know what we mean be love. Claiming to be in love is very different from claiming that there is an omniscience super intelligence reading your thoughts, concerned about you, and concerned about your *** life. Experiencing love says nothing about the object your in love with. People who love their children have good reason to believe their children exist. They conceived and watched their children be birthed into the world. If i was in love with batman does that mean batman exists?
