Just started law school and my eyes are about to fall out

nah its ok, im like 300 pages into the 1st book tonite and not going to sleep until i finish it. I am just taking a short 5-10 minute break or so every hour to keep me focused since it is a little late and i am slowly getting tired.

I took a semester of British Literature though. All that reading that only takes 6 hours can easily turn into 12 hours when you don't understand what you are reading, don't like what you are reading, and would rather be out partying with your friends or just playing some Halo 2.

Wait until your second semester. That is by far the hardest. After that it is not so bad. I recommend you start listening to audio cds on all your subjects. You can have a solid outline for a subject in one weekend of listening. Also - volunteer to be a Barbri rep. It will get you the course for free ($3000) and you can watch the dvds all through law school. You will nail the finals with those.

I biggest problem I've ever had with reading for extended periods of time, there's NO comfortable position to read in. Good luck man.

HitMan, I feel you on that one. I can never find a good position to read in. I end up trying to hold the book with one hand, or tossing and turning constantly.

maybe nature made it so its not comfortable to read. i mean if you were comfortable reading then you would probably fall asleep ha ha
