Hey guys, I just set up my first sound system in my 72' Buick and I'm having a few problems.

I have an Audiobahn A400 4t 4 channel amp. Two 6.5 speakers in the front hooked up to the head unit, and in the back I want to wire two 6x9s to channel 1 and 2, and then bridge the Sub to 3 and 4.

For some reason I can only get the 6x9s to play sound if I hook them up to CH1 and CH2 with the sub on CH 3 or 4, and if I put the sub on CH 1 or 2 or bridged then the 6x9s wont play on 3 and 4. Am I missing something here?

Also one of my 6.5 speakers is playinag softer than the other. Everything is brand new? could it be the quality of the connection I made? The sound comes through clean.. the volume is just a lot lower on the left rather than the right. I made sure everything was balanced to the middle.

My other amp is a two channel unfortunately. Two speakers and a sub bridged should be no problem right? is there a way to run two amps without having to utilize a second battery?

I don't see why you wouldn't run the 2 ch amp to the sub and just bridge it. Then the 4 ch for the other speakers. Just need a distribution block. Depends upon the amps power if a 2nd battery is needed.
