Just installed two amps

I just installed two amps in my car. I previously just had one. To me it sounds like the car is alot quieter (music wise) I say this because there is less flexing of my car side and door handle and my rear view mirror doesn't shake as much. The amps are not the same kind, brand or wattage, but I have set the gains the best I could with out a dmm. Anyone have any Ideas why it is quieter?

(btw the two amps are only to the subs, one to each.)

What subs do you have?

I bet you have phasing issues.

I would drop the power craptastik and just run the JBL.

To the coat hangers, it did get the job done. The RCA's are split with Y connecters, could that be the problem? And the JBL amp is only around 400 watts the powercrapstic is 600.

Those subs are the rockford p2's, picked em up for 20 for both

The way you have them stretched like a rubber band maybe - otherwise no.

And the JBL amp is only around 400 watts the powercrapstic is 600.

The jbl's rated for 360w bridged. The PA's probably about the same (what model is it?), but most likely doesn't do what it's rated for, no PA's do.

And unless you're driving an inflatable boat -- you're not "flexing" anything.

This setup is scaring the shit outta me. If your near Reynoldsburg, I'd be happy to help you get it in better shape than that for free.

I dont' want your car getting messed up....fire...etc etc

I'm almost wondering if you might have a bit of cancelling on this? Not sure why you would, but I'm thinking there could be an audible difference to the subs depending on the specs of each amp.
