Man this head unit is nice. Im running active and I seemed to get the crossover points around where I want them, however I am having a hard time figuring out how to set the auto EQ, or if I even am suppost to do that. I cant set Time alignment unti I get this EQ straightened out. Is that what the mic is for?...

Things like loudness etc I know I should have turned off. I set my gains giving my mids roughly 100w, and tweets about 25w, at volume 40.

As of now I just have it set on "powerful".

Geez this thing is confusing. Anyone want to chime in to help me get this thing set up correctly?

uhhh, RTFM?
If you're wanting to set the Auto TA/EQ believe it or not, it actually tells you how to do that, guess where?? Yep, in the owners manual.
Owners manual is ****ing confusing. There is so much to use in this head unit, I just want to make sure that I am taking full advantage of what it has to offer. Should I be setting the auto EQ? Should I use the mic to determine time alignment, or should I enter the values in myself?

You have to plug in the mic to the bottom of the face plate to run auto eq. And you have to run it with the car in acc mode and in a quiet area.
okay I can do that. so once the mic is plugged in, it will let me then select auto EQ under "audio"? or do I have to something else to get the auto eq working once the mic is plugged in?

i guess it's easier to be spoonfed by ca.com. forget the manual.
christ man, I am just trying to get some information from people who have already used this god **** head unit. I didnt read every page of the manual but everything I have done to it thus far I read the manual for. Give me a **** break. You act like you have completely accomplished everything on your own like you have never asked for a bit of help/advice.

If your not going to guide me, or answer my questions, then get the **** out of my thread.

The manual says, I don't remember.
I think you press and hold the eq button once you have the mic plugged in.
Okay cool. I know you have used this deck before, and pretty much know it inside and out. Anything else I should be focused on setting?

Nope if you're running auto eq and like the setup, your normal eq stays on flat. You can still adjust sub settings and stuff. Personally I liked setting the eq myself, but the auto eq is a good baseline to work off.
