Just installed my Tempest (pics)

looks good, does the ipod get that loud in there tho?

I set the gains of both amps based on what the ipod puts out. The AUX IN sensitivity is set to 1 on the cd player and I use the standard ~1V preout thats on the ipod dock. It gets just as loud and sounds exactly the same as using cds in the cd player.

im planning on a very simlar setup DDD, hows the SQ on rock music? i heard it kicks the bass wicked nice.

Nice install!

For future box building endeavors, its best to brace across the walls, not just at the joints, if your box flexes, it will be centered in the middle of open walls, not at the joints were naturally it has the greatest stregth.

The vinyl cover resting on top of the box is covering the whole setup at the moment, you can tell there's something in the back but not enough to know much more than that.

The box shouldn't flex really considering the dimensions and the build. It's not very deep and the doublethick baffle coupled with the triangular brackets should keep it pretty well.

from what sqeak tells everyone (he has two that are ported)...

yes. it hits double bass pedals like nothing else, and it gets LOW.
