800 a month per person is dumb. You could get a better 1 bedroom for the same price and not have to put up with any other douche bags. I am looking at a 1 bedroom 1.5 bathroom $825 and its ~900 sq.ft.

not in Miami man. The rental properties are not much cheaper than what you get in NYC. Most of the Miami 1 bedrooms near my school were listing for 1400 a month or up + utilities

Take the on site, you can always looks elsewhere your 2nd year once you have been living there the 1st. You also can't go on what all these guys quote you, they may live in cheaper areas than Miami.

I pay $900 for a 2 bedroom/1bath, 1000 sq. ft.. That doesn't include cooking gas, electric, parking, cable/phone/internet. You won't regret having all that bundled into 1 payment. Not only will it be easier on you, it will also be easier on your parents since they are the ones financing this.

Also, you really can't beat the individual lease, it covers your ***, and more so your parents.
