Just got the info for my new apt next year, what do you guys think?

holy crap... No way I could afford that..
well my situation is, this is the place I am going to law school, and all the good legal jobs are in major cities, so in order to get one of these jobs, i really need to be going to a school located in a big city. I figured i would be paying sky high rent anywhere i went. Right now i pay like 475 a month for a 6 bedroom house at Umass, but then again this school is in the middle of nowhere, and it would be pretty hard to network when the closest major city from he is 2 hours lol

The rent is a shitload, it is going to be 800 a month with utilities, free parking, cable/internet included. But the place is also located in Coral Gables, Miami, and is a 20 minute drive to south beach, so i guess that's why it costs so much?
for a 4/4 apartment, thats pretty cheap, considering its in flawda lol

$475 for a 6 bedroom???? i should move to florida, i was paying $1900/month + utilities for a 2 1/2 bedroom 2 bathroom town house

rent for apartments is way to much these days, my rents 450 used to be 400 and it's a 1 bedroom, i'm barely makin ends meet cuz of the bills and shit plus with my shitty Taco Time job of $7 a ****in hour it's just not cuttin it. i'm gonna be homeless soon

450 for a 1 bedroom? That is insanely cheap man. Ive never seen any 1 bedroom apt anywhere for less than 750 a month.

$800/mth per person or total?
Considering you get a 10x10 room with a small bath and then you have to deal with 3 other people that would be alot if it is per person!
yea it is per person. Otherwise it would only be like 200 bucks a month haha

costco man costco...my buddy is makin $19/hr there

then that is a alot, if it is only 1324 sqft total

that would be about 250sqft per bed/bath and 324sq/ft for the living/kitchen it seems from the pic

that would be about a 12x12ft room:(

the problem is the school is in Coral Gables, which is a really ritzy part of Miami. I really haven't found anything to rent in the area that is remotely cheap. Also, my parents are actually paying for my housing because I have very nice parents, and i told them it sounds like a lot of money and i could probably find a cheaper place off campus, but they said not to worry about it and the benefits of living on campus my 1st year of law school will probably make up for the cost. Can't say i feel guilty though, if they wanna pay that, it's fine with me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If your parents are paying for it then go with what ever is nicer and more convenient for you. I assume you wont know any of your roommates right?
