Just got rainbow SLCs hole in surround

and I know, because iv pokes holes in surrounds before installing, and its the worst feeling, it can be fixed easy and play fine, but just a bummer.
I dont' that one to my brother's Exclusives... I was cussing for 30 mins straight.

that was the first time and hopefully the last time.

It was because I didnt' have my trusty drill w/ me. I hate manually screwing in screws. It takes a lot of energy out my hands and arm that could be well used for fapping.

drop that damn name. I sure as hell don't ever want to deal with this seller.
That's fine because I'm never going to sell on here again. I didn't say they were damaged in shipping. He said I guess they were damaged in shipping. I said I don't know how that could've happened in shipping. I said I can try to file a claim if he wants. He then asked how can he fix it and what happens if I file a claim. I know I did not send them with a hole in the surround.

So then obviously it had to have happened in shipping.....

wtf are you talking about
Either it was shipped with a hole in it or it happened in shipping.
you're asking folks online if the item YOU have was damaged during shipping in the packaging YOU now have in your possession...

figure it out.

I would contact the seller and demand a partial refund for decreased value + what it costs to fix. That's just me.

Was it shipped properly? If it happened in shipping, ***** about his bad shipping and whatnot. If it was improperly shipped, he's fully at fault and I'd jump his ***.

If the shipment got there with no signs of roughness then I'd be pissed. -1 for not informing you of the condition.

Edit - I see I'm a little behind...what kind of condition were the items after being shipped? Any protection from one another, were they packed well so that they didnt move nad were protected? Was the box fuxxored?

He is telling you in a dickhead sort of way to look at the packaging and see if they were packed well and see if the packaging has any tears in it that would indicate something punctured the surround. The speakers were wrapped in layers of bubble wrap so there would be a hole in that I would imagine.

I dont want to mention names before I talk to him id like to give him a chance to work it out first.
Umm I paid 100 bucks will they sound like normal or what?
He said it did happen in shipping and the speakers were kid of resting on each other so its not that hard to believe. He seemds like an honest guy and I beleive him. He said he insured them for $150 and he would refund me that full amount (I only paid 100) after he filed the claim.
Think I should do that or keep them? 100 dollars for SLCs seem good and I probably could patch them up with silicone
^^ I think it could have happened durng shipping

I wasnt asking that he was the seller that I was quoting so if it wasnt there before he shipped them then it obviously he is either lying (Which I dont think cant really be sure I guess though) or it happened during shipping

How the hell am I to know he didn't do this? Christ I've sold thousands of dollars worth of stuff on here and am not going to pull this on $100 speakers. Hell what it cost to recone it, would be about as much as the set itself.

There was no hole in the bubble wrap or the box. It seemd packed ok, both speakers, crosovers and the tweets were all wrapped in bubble wrap and there was packing noodles inside
