Just got my new system installed... and ****!!!!!!

I finally got my system installed: 1 12" RE SE/x in a 2 cubic foot ported box tuend to 32Hz, running off of a Diamond D3 1000.1 amp and WOW i am impressed!!

I just installed it today so i havnt unleashed hell to the sub but from having the amp probably an eighth of the way up and the remote bass knob a quarter of the way up this set up POUNDS!!!

Im impressed with how clean and hard the SE/x hits!!! i cant wait untill i can pound the shit out of this set up!!!

yeah i just found out last week that RE has redone a few subs in the line up. i think the XXX,MX and MT remain the same, everythin elses caries a X at the end of its modle number.

IE. *** or the SXx

Yea and they apparently have custom tooled baskets. I dunno if anything else changed on 'em, but I don't like the looks of 'em.

he said remote bass knob so ill asume remote gain, yeah i hope for his sake that his gain and filters are set corectly. bass boost, what the hell is that!

Gain is about an 8th up

SubSonic is off

Bass Boost is off

Crossover is at roughly 80hz

Phase Adjustment is off

what would you reccomment

oh yeah and the Bass Knob is about a 4th up

ebay usually has them for $150 shipped for a 12"
