Does anybody know if a 0gauge could fit through the firewall of a Mini Cooper '05. Because, i'll be running (2) Clarion DPX11551 amps for a total of 3100rms and i'm using only a 4gauge right now from the front battery to the back battery.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

The guy from my audio shop said i need to upgrade the 4gauge to a 0gauge in order to get it working properly. Is there any other way to get working?

He also said "There are Airbag sensors in the walls of the car and if i screw one up, the whole car would be gone".
Ask the guy who told you about the sensors to show you where you can drill a bigger hole or I'd just make the 4 gauge hole a tad bit bigger, the hole is not gonna be that big of a difference.

u can find some spots where wiring is going through you should be able to run your wire in there. well if these shops are telling you this why not have them find you a spot?

They'll try, but just incase they can't find a spot, i figure to come ask caraudio.com

I'll see if making the current hole a little bigger would help.

he is trying to get you to bring it to him so he can make money //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

there will be a airbag sensor in the door if it has side airbags and one up near the very front of the car. Why would the put a airbag sensor where the whole front of the car has to be smashed to hell to go off???

Go under the car. That's what I did with mine, though not a cooper. Have 1/0 guage going next to the brake lines to the back
If you go under the car from the engine bay, where will the other end go in to the car?

why dont you run 2 4 gauge runs ?

did you drill a hole to run the 4g? if so, as stated already just make that hole a little bigger. to go lowes or home depot and buy a step drill bit. it will make your life much easier.
