Just got my new amp in!! :)

IM running two L7s. The MA amp was made to take a higher current, and i heard from many places that if you dont give them a higher current then they dont last. I will probly never have a system that takes 4400 watts rms. Yes, the MA was .5 ohm stable, but my dvc 4 ohm subs dont need to go to .5 ohm.

You should be happy with your choice. The AQ is a nice amp.

Hmmm. I never ran them but why would they make a amp that runs at higher voltage? What model was it? I seen one like it, but don't know if their the same.

Its the MA Audio HK802SX. I dont know where is says that, it might not be true, but i heard it from different places over the net. I get nervous about stuff like that, if it did fry, then i wouldnt of had teh money for another amp. I heard a lot more good things about Audioque then i ever have about MA Audio.

It worked good for me, i had it wired at 1400wrms per channel at 1ohm.

those 802sx's **** balls.. by FAR the most inneffcient amps in their class.

you'll probably get more power out of the 2200

I have heard this from MANY places... Even if i do loose the power, still quality over quantity.

I have it hooked up, and i get much better SQ, it hits a little harder and is MUCH easier on my electrical. Compared to the AQ, the MA makes a flappy sounding bass. The AQ is quicker and more punchy.

Very glad i got rid of that MA.

Cool that it worked out better for ya. Thats why we have so many choices. Not every thing works the same in each car. My concept 2400a never did do well in my car. Put it in a buddy's and it slams. I have more electrical than him also. /shrug
