just got my dynamat trunk kit had some questions

so im about to line my trunk with dynamat. i bought the trunk kit off ebay. after ordering it i was reading some customer reviews on crutchfield and some guy was saying that the kit wasent big enough for his corolla. i drive a camry.

so if i dont have enough what are the most important spots to get??

also do i need a roller???

do i need a heat gun???

and if i need a roller i could use a cheap paint roller right???

Roller = good idea

Heat gun = not where we live.

Just unroll it and set it in the sun for a while. That will make it good and plyable.

Make sure to clean the surfaces real good so the matt sticks well. Use acetone or something that will do a good job removing any grease and other shit.

well i just got done with my trunk. it was easier than i thought it would be. the only problem is i need some more material.

would it be ok to just use peel and seal on the spots i didnt have enough dynamat for??

i noticed a slight increase in bass after installing this stuff. it seems to sound alot more solid now.

dont use peal and seal just use cheaper product like raammat 60, edead, brown bread...

did you do your trunk lid yet? thats where i noticed the biggest improvement...

yea i did the trunk lid but only had enough to do the very top. the very back of my trunk where the taillights are is still bare.

right now i only have one 10 in a small sealed box. the trunk wasent rattling from one 10 but in about 3 days my other sub will be here so i will have 2 10s ported to 35 hz ( thanks for the plans moe lester) and i knew i needed to deaden the trunk for this upgrade.

i wish i hadnt spent 70$ on this trunk kit but at the time it seemed like a good deal considering crutchfield is selling the same kit for 150$.

in the near future ill finish her up but for now i think ill be fine.
