Just got my amp, now a couple amp kit quesetions

turns out shipping is only 7.99 bringing the total to $50. little higher than i wanted but maybe i'll go for it. i'm still contemplating the 8 gauge but i know everyone wnats me to do 4awg
and on that note, the 8 gauge is $24.99 w/o shipping...falling right in my budget.

the knukoncepts amp kit does nto come witha turn on wire...it says it is built into the RCAs. i believe is till need the remote turn on wire...why would it not be included?

If it's like my Streetwires, there's a wire that runs along side the rcas You can use that as remote. Or any 18ga wire will do.

People are suggesting 4ga, because it's always better to go bigger. If you switch out your amp or decide to do a multi channel and a mono, you at least need 4. All of my runs are in 0 and 4 ga.

if your car is a pain in the *** to run the wires your not going to want to be doing it more than once. i went with 1/0 guage with a 900 watt RMS kenwood amp because i know i'm going to upgrade soon and didnt want to waste money by haveing to by another kit.

gotcha. i dont ever imagine putting more than one amp in, and prob won't run much more than 500w ever so i should be good either way. thanks for the heads up.
