HO alt and Battery

I have 2004 Tiburon and in my new setup im goin to be running 2500-3000 w RMS depending on my amp sub. Would just a new battery or just a new alternator (i can go up to 220 amps with iraggi) be fine, or should i get one of each?

If i needed just a battery, would i need something as powerful as a kinetic 2400, or could i go for something cheaper? If one of each would be too much, but each one alone not enough, how much lower should i go for the alt and battery (im trying to save as much money as possible)

Only one way to find out. Get the big 3/0 done with some solid ground spots. Get a decent battery up front and a bigger battery in back (hc2400 should work nicely). Then just keep a close eye on your voltage. Don't wanna starve your amps or you might see some smoke.

2500-3k will be really pushing it, and an alternator would definitely be your best bet.

I'd say you'd be best off starting with the big three, the HO alt, and the biggest Kinetik you can fit under the hood. If you still have issues after that then a bat in your trunk.

i think your going to need the HO alt and the battery.... i doubt your alt will be sufficient.

is there a website where u can figure out what size battery you have, i really dont feel like goin out to my car right now lol
