Hahahaha.. That's my brother wife.. I'm only 18, gettin ready to turn 19, and i'm going to college for mechanical engineering. I don't need something like a wife to hold me back, especially on the weekends..

I got the sub itself for free, therefore i'd call it free. A recone is only $45 from audioque, so it's not like it'll be that big of a deal.
I'm really wanting to find a solid, cheap 8 and build a t-line box for it, but i can't seem to find anything under $90-100. Any ideas?

Sdc's sound just fine sealed. Sure you will lose some output but thats a given when going sealed. Call up AQ and they will tell you what to go with for a sealed box. I had a 12 sealed in 1.3 cubes that sounded pretty decent. Great low end just not enough output for me personally.

Well that's what i mean. I want something to sound good, but she doesn't want it to be realy loud (she can't stand to sit in my truck that does 140 all day long) so a sealed box should be about perfect then.
