Just got a fi btl 18

So I just picked up an fi btl from a buddy for a price I couldn't pass up, its the UFO style. Now I have some questions I plan on having two of these but I just sold my dc xl 18's would these fi's be considerd to be "better" sub? Also all my knowledge is with dc subs and this is my first fi. How much does this sub weight? It feels more then my xl but not sure.

you have people that swear by both, ive not heard the best things out of DC, but a buddy beat the **** out of a BL and it took it, so IMO its a bit of an upgrade. and I think the UFO BTL weigh in the 70-75lb range, not entirely sure tho

Okay cool so if it's the 70+ it's more like a level 5 then a 50lbs xl......by chance do you know the coil size only 3 inch on these right?

Anyone else have input also my old 18's box is 13.08 after displacement with the xl's straight to just drop the fi's in there?

Not a big upgrade really... If it was an N2 maybe...

as i mentioned earlier... I think that its a upgrade of quality, i dont know if it will be louder or not
