Dont get me wrong people, I didnt go off the wall, the kids a brainyack and I love her, shes young and innocent and a great non troublemaking kid
It just sucks to see the day where she disappointed me like this ya know
I would have no questions asked purchased her the book, shes read the other 2, now shes wants the next 2.
Its just that she stole from me, and I dont even know how much, and to think how many times Ive left my wallet full of cash in my room for the day, not knowing the extent of it kinda sucks
Shes getting grounded though out dad said, and osmething about no allowance for the summer, he doesnt take this ish lightly. But I agree, nip it in the butt now, stealing is wrong blah blah blah, and hope it sticks

few weeks ago, someone in my family stole 4 ****ing dollars from my wallet. and everyone is over 20 years old. thats ****ing sadd.

OP - Okay so she's thirteen years old and she's been jacking your change. At least you know she's jacked your change and nothing else(that you know of). Here's the thing. You say she's a very good kid, seems like she means well she just fuc*ed up because she VERY MUCH so wanted something. She probably felt bad for asking you or your parents for the book, you've both probably given her a lot and she just didnt want you to know. In the morning, sit her down and do the brotherly thing, tell her you love her, yada yada. Get your change back. Don't buy her the book, not yet.
Make her think about the shit, and don't let her have the book(a little bit of punishment). Make her help you out some doing shit and make her help your parents, then when you or your parents think the times okay, suprise her with the book.
It does need to be addressed so that she won't fuc* up in the future. Even smart people screw up, look at me. I'm booksmart beyond reason, but I'm a fuc*up at life. Teach her a lesson and let it go. Everyone deserves one break AS LONG AS they learn from their mistake.
That's what I would do, anyhow.
