Just brought home a new vehicle last night- pics inside

not really.. even though i am tempting to... i dont want to plan anything because I know for sure that if I do plan something out, i would eventually buy it (it is that tempting to me lol)

but here is what I have top of my mind-

Would like 2 12s or 15s.. Fi Qs

2k watt amp- not sure which one

other than that is still up in the air (dont need to decide anything yet lol)

and definitely would like to have a HO alternator (prefer to get used one from somebody around here rather than shelling out too much cash for brand new one)

p.s. part of the reason I want to keep most of things stock is because of I am in college so im afraid those would get stolen or whatever, god knows what assholes would like to do..

ya man i hear ya. did yours come with the 6cd player and sub woofer in the side panel in trunk? my dad had an explorer just like that and he had the sound system package. was not bad for a stock system.

yeah but 2 15s will require a huge box which will take up all of my cargo space so i am thinking more likely 12s

and i would love to get your 250amp alternator but dont forget my explorer is a 4.6 V8 so pretty sure wont fit yours?

2 15"s wont take up the whole cargo area I used to have 2 15"s and it didnt. Now 18"s will take up the whole cargo.

I had 2 15s while back in my 95.. I had to make 7 cu. ft. box since each 15s needed a 3.5 cu. ft. chambers and that took up the whole cargo area.. I was a noob back then so not sure if I got everything right though..

I would love to make it sealthy.. I am thinking about having someone build me a box with the subs faced up or face them down.. also add like 6 inch stand on the ends of the box so I can put my amps underneath it and cover it up good so that way it would just look like just a box.. avoid thieves hah..

**** now I want to look around for subs.. thanks a lot 99grandprixgt lol..

how big of a box am I supposed to have for 2 15s? I am still learning a bit about the boxes even though I went thru 2 diffy systems already..

Now I am seriously considering starting it off by purchasing a HO alternator and a 2k watts amp..

I want a kicker kx or zx2500.1

and then I will work on subs from there.. I am pretty sure that I would like to get 2 12 or 15 Qs with BP option.. I might just buy them brand new from fi

I wouldnt do billet grilles.....it would cheese it up sooooo badly....i wouldnt do nothin but put a nice system in it and rims if ya have too

Keep it clean, not like all the other trash around

not always.. I would love for my x to look like this one.. but I am not going to copy everything, but I am gonna go in almost similar route

this explorer is owned by a guy over at explorerx forums.. nice guy and explorer!

Tint looks good. Now just drive it and be happy with it. I wish I could have one already.
