Just a tad bit of help needed

So many nices ones: Alpine, Pioneer,CDT, Focal, etc..
You need to set a budget for each phase of your system.

Like I said I dont need anything fancy I just want something subtle and simple.

I'm looking at 1 amp 1 sub and new speakers throughout.....im not looking to spend 1200 bucks 200-1000 is the budget I set myself I have someone who can install (teach me anyways)

Kenwood makes right-fine heaunits.

If Kenwood is a genuine consideration for you let me suggest getting something from their upmarket eXcelon line.

The features are generally more upscale than their non-eXcelon counterparts and if you buy from an authorized source the factory warranty is twice as long.

Aside from that - if you're looking for a HU, one sub, and amp for the sub, a quality ron stage and an amp to power that, $1000 is actually a fairly liberal budget if you're willing to look around, shop hard, and not "GOTTA HAVE IT RIGHT NOW" impulse buy.

If you're willing to buy used gear such as off of eBay or the Classifieds here or other forums akin to this that will also open up your options considerably.

I'm willing to buy used gear, and this place looks like it has some good folk to purchase from. Now i wont be back to the states for quite awhile so I don't want to buy and have it collect dust but I was looking for suggestions being a Stereo Noob and all.
