i know of at least 1 company that does something similar to this. I remember seeing a "ring" of testers for the Stereo integrity prototypes. they have like 1 or 2 protos they send out, and it gets shipped to like 4 or 5 different people.. Then back to SI.

Have you guys ever thought about using your persuasion for evil? For instance, if you were to say that amp "X" or sub "X" was awesome and had pics, I bet sales on that particular brand would increase 10X due to people on the forums going "well he is smart and says this is a good deal, I'm buying some". I bet you could email companies and say look, i'm on this forum and I have this many posts, come look at how people react to me. Give me very cheap, or free equipment, I will install it and tell everyone how great it is. If it doesn't work out you send it back *shrug*
