just a question about a 2nd battery

i was just curious but say if i were to put a 2nd battery in my car. how would i connect this to my car along with the 1st one? is the only thing you connect the 2nd battery to is the alternator or something?

if you do one you might as well do the other, 200 amp alt. and yellow top (or equivalent) a must have.

If you are having problems with power delivery, a second battery is not going to solve it. Replace the stock battery first, then replace the alternator, then if the alternator is big enough, add the isolator and second battery. If the alternator can't deliver enough juice to power your system and one battery, how the heck is it suppossed to charge 2 battereries and run your system?

it lets u just run the secondary battery while the car is off so then u aren't using the starting battery to run your system.

It isolates the charge from the atl to the main bat. or the second bat. Whichever is lower, it allows it to charge.

The isolator keeps the primary battery charged first and then dumps extra charge into the secondary battery. A Battery Isolator can be found at any auto parts store.
