Just a new batt up front?

I know my battery up front is crap, because I've had a few instances of my truck not starting after a weekend of no activity.

So I'm planning on changing it.

I was just going to change it out for a new similar cca to the existing one, but considering my audio is only 4 & 8 gauge wire running a 500rms sub amp and about 200rms to the components and I'm getting headlight dimming... do I need to go bigger?

Is is all down to my poor batt, or should I be thinking about a beefier than std batt anyway?

Is it for the Ford truck in your avatar? If so, go with a group 27 AGM style battery like the Kinetik HC2000 or the PowerMaster D2700 or the Deka 9a27. Any of those will do the job just fine.

ok thanks,

Yes it's the F150 in the pic

Wasn't sure if the agm bats that people use in adition were ideal as a one and only battery.

Noticeable diference with the Stinger SPV70...

Obviously the truck starts up first time, but seems to make the bass hit a little crisper //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
