is it? I just was sittin yesterday then coolant started comin out from somewhere underneath. its not a lot so it could be the lower radiator hose. I'm looking into it today

I replaced my water pump last summer, it wasn't bad but had started to leak. If your Jeep has the tow package (mech & e-fan) it's a pain in the *** to get the mech fan off the pump.

I replaced my water pump last summer, it wasn't bad but had started to leak. If your Jeep has the tow package (mech & e-fan) it's a pain in the *** to get the mech fan off the pump.

Pretty sure mines not the factory towing package, it has one, but not factory. I mean the fan isn't attached to the front of the motor at all.

Yes, when the threads have seized together it's difficult getting it loose.

Should be an easy fix.

Jeep added a 2nd fan & transmission cooler with the tow hitch. So you have an electronic fan & a small mechanical fan on the water pump.

check that, Kinda sounds like my heater core is clogged and there seems to be a small hole in the radiator. When it rains it pours.

Same things happening on my Mercury... Water pump failed, now heater core failed, and blew the head gasket.
