Jumper cabes as wire?

Yes Jumper Cables will work fine. It's copper.

People on here are all bonerfied by their knu wire and stuff. But for a temporary fix it will work fine. You don't need "pretty" clear colored insulation to make a cable work. Copper is what makes it work, and jumper cables have copper in them.

I cant wait that long for the wire to be shipped. My car isnt moving.
Sounds like you got your mind made up. You do't wanna pay 5 bucks a foor and you don't wanna wait.

Pics of this installed in your car now because I know it is.

Order about 20 feet of 1/0 wire from knukonceptz.com and you should have it by Monday at the latest. Or go cut up some more jumper cables and use that.

use jumper cables for your big 3. That way you can find the best spots through trial and error. and it'll be easily removable w/ the supplied clamps.

be ultra ghetto like me,

and go to lowes and search out their wire rack.

I found some black jacket 4 guage I made all my grounds with. - $1.50 per foot I think.

yes its stiff wire, but I dont realley care. do the following runs =

engine block to battery neg.

battery neg to a good spot on your frame rails. ( wire brush that crap till it shines )

get some red wire - and do from the alternator charge - with a fuze 100amp less than 18" away from the alt - running to battery positive.

your car should start - and run alot better once those wires are made and installed nicely.

I use a bench vise to crimp the big lugs on to the wire. and wrap em in electrical tape, and then brush on some liquid electrical tape also to make shure the regular electrical tape does not un wind.

there is realley no reason your car should of stalled out and been dead tho.

unless - your battery is totaly crapping out on you, and , or , your alternator is toast.

both things to have autozone check out for free for you.

or - if you have a digital multi meter, check battery voltage - if its over 12.5 car not running it should be ok enough to start the car at least.

if you can get the car to crank up, and your voltage is less than 13.5 your alternator is dead.

let us know how it works out for you.
